Heythrop Park Resort acquired by Warner Leisure Hotels
Oxford, United Kingdom- After 18 years operating under The Firoka Group, Heythrop Park Resort has been sold to Warner Leisure Hotels as part of the expansion of their nationwide portfolio. Set in 440 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, Heythrop Park is now the 15th property of the hotel chain.
Heythrop Park Resort will continue to operate independently with the current team in place throughout 2019, 2020 and 2021, therefore not affecting the business and its corporate and leisure activities to ensure a smooth transition.
Firoz Kassam, Chairman of The Firoka Group, said “the acquisition of Heythrop Park by Warner Leisure Hotels is an exciting opportunity for the Resort and for the team and we look forward to seeing it evolve under its new ownership. We would like to thank the entire team at Heythrop Park for their hard work and dedication and we wish them all the very best for the future. It has been a pleasure to act as custodians of the estate and grow it from a Natwest training centre to the iconic venue it is today. Thank you also to our clients and suppliers who have supported us over the years”.
